Khufiya first look: Tabu looks intense, Ali Fazal’s evil laugh gives you chills

Vishal Bharadwaj’s next directorial venture Khufiya is now grabbing everyone’s attention after the first look was released. The movie stars Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles. The teaser of Khufiya will leave you wanting more as it didn’t divulge any details about the plot. In the video, Tabu looks intense and concerned whereas Ali Fazal will give you the creeps when you see his evil laugh.

The teaser ends with a hazy shot of Tabu lighting a cigarette. However, the interesting part of the teaser is that there are no dialogues that also keep you a little hooked. While sharing the movie’s first look, the Mirzapur actor wrote, “The first look we’ve all been waiting for. Trailer abhi baaki hai. Welcome to the world of khufiya. A glimpse. Vishal Bhardwaj’s #Khufiya. Need i say more?”

Earlier, speaking more about the film, director and producer Vishal Bhardwaj told SpotboyE, “With Khufiya, my attempt is to create an edgy espionage film that contrasts the slow burn of intelligence and surveillance work with one’s deep-rooted emotional conflicts.”

Whereas Tabu who is reuniting with Vishal after Haider was quoted as, “Khufiya is a one-of-a-kind project, extremely close to my heart and I am excited to be a part of this gripping spy thriller. As always, it’s a delight working with VB (Vishal Bhardwaj) again, and feels like home coming!”

Khufiya is inspired by a true event and is based on Amar Bhushan’s ‘Escape to Nowhere’. The film is expected to release in 2022.
