Khufiya teaser OUT: Tabu and Ali Fazal’s spy thriller will leave you intrigued​- watch

Netflix’s Tudum has announced a series of news films and series’ teasers recently that piqued everyone’s interest. Moreover, they have also shared the sequels of the films and series, making our watchlist heavier now. Nevertheless, with the Tudum announcement, here comes a new teaser of Khufiya starring Tabu and Ali Fazal which is helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The spy thriller looks absolutely intriguing and will leave you wanting more. In the small teaser, we see Tabu warning us about a traitor while Ali is seen going through a top-secret document.

No wonder this small clip is a teaser as it teases you to know more. It doesn’t give away any more details. Sharing the video on Instagram, Ali Fazal wrote, “KHUFIYA Brace yourselves! The teaser for #Khufiya by the Maestro himself @vishalrbhardwaj has arrived! To share stage with such a lovely cast, i am blessed. Cannot wait to bring this to the lot of you very soon. Aapne kiya hukum, humne kiya #TUDUM!” Whereas Vishal wrote, “A spy thriller inspired by true events! Based on Amar Bhushan’s ‘Escape to Nowhere’. Presenting you the teaser for #Khufiya“

Earlier, speaking more about the film, director and producer Vishal Bhardwaj told SpotboyE, “With Khufiya, my attempt is to create an edgy espionage film that contrasts the slow burn of intelligence and surveillance work with one’s deep-rooted emotional conflicts.”

Whereas Tabu who is reuniting with Vishal after Haider was quoted as, “Khufiya is a one of a kind project, extremely close to my heart and I am excited to be a part of this gripping spy thriller. As always, it’s a delight working with VB (Vishal Bhardwaj) again, and feels like homecoming!”

Khufiya is inspired by a true event and is based on Amar Bhushan’s ‘Escape to Nowhere’. The film is expected to release in 2022.
