Like Janhvi Kapoor, sister Khushi also wants to become an actor!

Acting runs in the Kapoor blood, so when we hear about the Kapoor kids choosing Bollywood as their profession, it comes as no surprise. We know that Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor have been filmy since their childhood and we have heard that story from Janhvi herself. Recently, we saw Janhvi Kapoor make her debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Dhadak’ and now, there is news that her sister, Khushi Kapoor wants to become an actor too!

In an interview with SpotboyE, Boney Kapoor spoke about his youngest daughter, Khushi Kapoor making an entry in Bollywood and wanting to become an actor. He said, “I wouldn’t say that I motivated Janhvi. I encouraged her to let her do what she wants. Why curb someone’s natural instincts? Like for one, I didn’t know until Salman (Khan) told me that Arjun has it in him to become an actor. On the other hand, my eldest child, Anshula is extremely academically inclined. And Khushi first wanted to become a model- but has now shifted her focus to becoming an actress.”

During the promotional interviews of her debut film ,’Dhadak’, when Janhvi was asked whether her sister, Khushi will also be a part of Bollywood, Janhvi had said, “She is very passionate about films and acting, but more than anything, I would like to give her a chance, a freedom to choose whatever she loves doing.”

In a interview for Vogue with her mentor, Karan Johar, Janhvi revealed that her mother, the late Sridevi, wanted Khushi to become an actor. “She never wanted me to be an actress. She was more relaxed about Khushi getting into films. She thought I was naïve, that I wasn’t thick-skinned enough. She wanted us to live a more relaxed life. She loved what she did but you know it was intense,” Janhvi said.
