Khushi Kapoor on her bond with The Archies co-stars: We were forced to spend so much time together

Khushi Kapoor is all set to star alongside Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda in The Archies. In Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, Khushi is essaying the role of Betty. Now, in a recent interview, the emerging actress has revealed how she bonded with her co-stars. Not just this, she also has shared similarities she has with her on-screen character.

Khushi Kapoor opens up on her bonding with The Archies co-actors

At the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2023, Khushi Kapoor was asked how she bonded with her co-actors. Addressing this, she said that it didn’t take much time for her to bond with them. She said, “We were forced to spend so much time together, and just going through the same experience made us bond so much. I think especially doing acting workshops together made us open up and be vulnerable with each other. I think towards the end of the shoot we were just kind of moving in a small herd everywhere together.”

Khushi Kapoor on similarities with Betty Cooper

Previously, Khushi Kapoor had shared that she is actually Betty Cooper in real life. She had playfully revealed, “I think Betty and I are pretty similar in this case, so I wouldn’t ask for it.”  Now, during the conclave, Khushi also shared the similarities with her character. She said, “I think we were cast because there was so much of us that we had in our characters. There’s a lot about Betty that I see in myself as well, and I think I found that out the more I played her. I think she is very sweet and empathetic but is also sensitive sometimes. And she is really caring, but sometimes she can tend to put other people’s needs ahead of hers. So, I think I kind of identified with certain parts of her a lot the more I played her.”
