EXCLUSIVE: Kiara Advani on working with rumoured beau Sidharth Malhotra in Shershaah: He is extremely focused and driven

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have been making headlines for quite a long time as the duo are rumoured to be dating for quite some time. But, Kiara and Sidharth have been very private about their relationship as there has been no confirmation. Kiara and Sidharth will finally be seen on-screen together and their fans could not be more excited to see Sidara together. The rumoured couple will star in Shershaah which is all set to release on August 12 this year. Ahead of the release, we sat down for a candid chat with Kiara and asked her how is Sidharth Malhotra like as a co-star. Kiara was all praise for Sidharth as she said that he is very committed to his craft and for Shershaah since it is a true story he felt more responsibility.

Talking about Sidharth, Kiara said, “Professionally, I have only known him now, this is the only film we have done together. What I observed of him as an actor and as a co-actor is that he is extremely focused and he was very driven. I guess people who have known him before or after have seen that difference. For me, I only saw this version of him. Maybe I don’t know, he was inspired by the role he was playing, he knew the responsibility. But, I knew that this film to him was so special because he had lived with it long before things had come together. He was one of the first people on board even before the producer, director had come together to make this film. I think for him, it’s a big part of his heart and it’s a big part of his life both professionally and personally. I feel today when I watch the film it shows.”

We further asked the Good Newwz actress if we will see more of Sidara in the upcoming movies, Kiara said, “I hope we do more work together, I hope we do more films together. Someone has to come with a script which is as exciting for both of us. Hopefully. Fingers crossed on that.”

Talking about Shershaah, the movie is jointly presented by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Amazon Prime Video. It also stars Shiv Panditt, Raj Arjun, Pranay Pachauri, Himanshu Ashok Malhotra, Nikitin Dheer, Anil Charanjeett, Sahil Vaid, Shataf Figar, and Pawan Chopra in pivotal roles.
