Kiara Advani recalls telling Sushant Singh Rajput, 'Someone should someday make a biopic on you'

Kiara Advani and Sushant Singh Rajput worked together in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. Fans loved their chemistry in the film. In a recent interview, Kiara opened up about working with the late actor in MS Dhoni’s biopic. She revealed how well she got to know SSR during the film’s shoot.

During her appearance on The Ranveer Show podcast, Kiara recalled, “We started the shoot in Aurangabad, and we must have packed up at 8 pm. We had a 4 am flight. And we decided, let’s call it an all-nighter. That is when I got to spend time with Sushant, and we got chatting. It is so interesting because he shared about his journey, how Dhoni happened for him, generally his life story, from being a backup dancer behind Preity Zinta, how he was an engineer, and he always had those massive books he was always reading.”

The actress went on to say that SSR had a curious mind, and after talking to the actor, she told him, “Someone should someday make a biopic on you because it’s so interesting.”

The actress also said SSR was passionate about his craft. She also revealed that during MS Dhoni’s shoot, “Sushant had a booklet that had questions he had asked Dhoni and their answers too. He had done so much research about Dhoni’s personal and professional life.”

Sushant died due to suicide in 2020. The actor was last seen in Dil Bechara with Sanjana Sanghi.

Kiara is currently awaiting the release of her film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. She has shared screen space with Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav in the same. The film is slated to release on 20^th May.

Apart from that, Kiara will also be seen in JugJugg Jeeyo. The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Pajakta Koli. The members recently shared new posters of the film. Sharing the posters, Kiara wrote, “#JugJuggJeeyo family is enroute to the big screen to celebrate togetherness, love, warmth and all that makes up a family! From one family to another, we hope to share this emotion of family with yours on 24^th June in cinemas near you.”
