Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani had a fairy tale of a wedding earlier this month on February 7. The couple looked dreamy in their wedding pictures. The video of Kiara Advani during her bridal entry left everyone teary-eyed. Now, at a recent event, the new bride revealed what was going on in her mind during that time.

On February 25, Sid and Kiara made attended their first public event together post marriage. The newlyweds looked quite dashing as they took on the red carpet. Sidharth looked quite dapper in his black shirt and trouser ensemble that he paired with a silver jacket. Whereas Kiara looked ethereal in her yellow saree.

During the event, while on stage, Kiara revealed what was going on in her mind right before her bridal entry during her big day. She said, “Toh main bahut emotional thi, lekin jaise hi darwaze khule and I saw him (Sidharth), andar se I was like ‘Yay, I am getting married’. Aur wo feeling leke main aage chal di (I was very emotional but as soon as the doors opened and I saw Sid, from inside I went like ‘Yay, I am getting married’. Then I walked down the aisle with that feeling). And of course if you are marrying someone you love, the love of your life, you will feel that way na.”

At the event, Kiara was bestowed with an award. Host Maniesh Paul mentioned that it was Kiara’s first award post her wedding. As soon as he said that, Sidharth rushed to the stage, and gave his wife a warm hug, leading the crowd to hoot and cheer for them. Seeing all the love between them was just too adorable and beautiful.

Sidharth and Kiara fell in love during the filming of their maiden collaboration Shershaah. Then earlier this month, they tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Jaisalmer. The wedding was attended by their family and close friends including Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor. The couple then hosted two receptions, one in Delhi and another in Mumbai, for their family, friends and industry peers.
