Kiara’s track record with the filmmaker has been quite successful as almost all the projects they have done together have been critically and commercially appreciated. At the trailer launch of JugJugg Jeeyo, Karan had even called Kiara the lucky charm for him and Dharma. Reacting to that comment, in a recent media interaction, the actress said, “Good Newwz, Guilty and Shershaah have all done good work and this will be our fourth collaboration together. Hattrick hua hai ab usko aage le jana hoga. (We’ll have to add on to the hattrick).”

The actress went on to rave about the filmmaker, acknowledging him for believing in her when very few makers did. She shared, “He really believed in me even before I had any commercial hits. He took me in Lust Stories when I was not commercially a very successful actress and I felt like he put in a lot of faith in me and my potential as an actor, much earlier in my career. I feel very grateful that he saw that potential in me and gave me some of my most special films like Shershaah, Guilty and Good Newwz.”

When pointed out that she was even a part of Karan’s Kalank, the actress made a revelation saying that it was actually Varun who made her say yes to that special appearance. “That was a special performance that I did as a friend for Varun. He called me up saying listen, you’ll do this one song, and I said acha theek hai, I’ll do. Maine kuch soch-samajh ke decision nahi liya tha. (I didn’t think much before taking that decision). And that was actually the biggest song in the film but I hadn’t even heard the script, I just did it because Varun called me as a friend,” Kiara revealed.
