Kiara Advani to star opposite Shahid Kapoor in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie?

Actress Kiara Advani, who made her debut with the movie ‘Fugly’, got recognition in Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer ‘M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story’ where she played the role of his wife, Sakshi Dhoni. It was a small role, but she impressed the audiences and bagged her third movie ‘Machine’, an Abbas-Mustan venture. But unfortunately, the movie tanked at the box office and critics too, bashed it. Usually, when a film flops, the lead actors also suffer as much as the producers because filmmakers get apprehensive about casting them in strong roles. And the fact that Kiara is relatively a newbie in B-Town, the road seemed to be tougher for her. But, reports in DNA state that the actress has finally landed her BIG project opposite Shahid Kapoor in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production. Yes, she has been approached for SLB’s production venture, ‘Tuesdays and Fridays’. A source quoted in DNA, “Kiara Advani has signed a three-film deal with SLB’s banner. The first film is mostly going to be ‘Tuesdays and Fridays’. It’s a romantic comedy with a lot of dance involved.” Kiara will be paired opposite Shahid Kapoor in the movie. It’s going to be interesting to see Kiara and Shahid romance each other.

Meanwhile, this will be Shahid’s second movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali post ‘Padmavati’. Well, let’s hope that the reports turn out to be true and Kiara’s career gets a dream lift.
