Producer-director Karan Johar has been a strong force in Bollywood. While he has often been credited for launching some very talented newcomers, the next one on that list is Lakshya. He will make his debut with this non-stop, high-octane, action-packed thriller. What is great about Lakshya’s debut though is the scale at which is happening. Premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, Dharma Productions is giving Lakshya an international launch pad like never before.
KILL to premiere at TIFF
Just a few days back it was learned that Lakshya’s high-octane actioner will be seen at the Toronto International Film Festival. Producers Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, and Karan Johar will also be present at the occasion along with Lakshya to cheer for his first film. And with all of this happening, this only counts as a dream debut for the young star. As an outsider, catapulting straight into the inside circle of international cinema is indeed a big deal for Lakshya. Well, his glorious journey at Dharma with guidance from Karan Johar is turning out to be a great fairytale. And it’s just begun.
Lakshya-KILL
Lakshya’s projects
Even though Lakshya might be a fresh face in Bollywood, he has tested his waters on television earlier. Having done shows like Adhuri Kahaani Hamari, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, and Porus, his Bollywood journey has surely begun on a dreamy note. And going by reports, after KILL, Lakshya will be seen in another Dharma film, that too in a negative role. Well, we are surely waiting!
Having said that here’s wishing Lakshya all the very best as he forrays into the film world in an action-packed avatar.
