Lakshya, Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala starrer Kill is all set for a Hollywood remake. As per reports coming in, the film – touted as the most ‘gory Hindi film’s ever made is in India, will soon be made in English with the backing of Lionsgate and 87Eleven.
Kill to be remade in Hollywood
As per reports coming in, John Wick director Chad Stahelski is all set to produce an English-language remake of the action thriller Kill for Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions. Lionsgate announced that 87Eleven Entertainment – the production company behind the much-loved and action-filled Keanu Reeves-led franchise, will be producing the remake. As per a report, Jason Spitz and Alex Young will also produce the remake for 87Eleven Entertainment.
About Kill
Kill is produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. The film stars Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles. The gory film is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor & Achin Jain. It will release in theatres on July 4, 2024.
The violence and blood-filled actioner made its world premiere at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival as a Midnight Madness selection. It was also played earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival.
