Kirron Kher’s father Thakur Singh passes away

This morning has indeed brought devastating news for veteran actress and politician Kirron Kher whose father Col. Thakur Singh has passed away. Kirron’s husband-actor Anupam Kher has taken to his Twitter handle to share this sad news with everyone.

Anupam wrote, “Col. Thakur Singh, Kirron Ji’s father departed for a better world this mor. He was one of d kindest persons I have ever met. Will miss him.?.” [sic]

With this tweet, Kher has even shared a picture of him and Kirron with her father Thakur Singh.

Kirron’s father was 103-year-old and lived with his family in Chandigarh where currently, Kirron Kher is the MP. Satya Pal Jain, former BJP MP from Chandigarh, has given a statement expressing his condolence over her father’s death saying, “The cremation will take place in the afternoon tomorrow.”
