KK’s daughter Taamara’s post for the late singer will leave you teary-eyed

Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath known by the stage name KK breathed his last on Tuesday (May 31) night in Kolkata, where he had gone to perform at a college festival. He was 53. As per reports, doctor said that he died of heart attack. The funeral is taking place today in Mumbai. Late singer KK’s daughter, Taamara, shared details about the funeral with a heartbreaking note on her Instagram Stories. “Love you forever dad,” she wrote and added a heart emoticon.

In Taamara’s post, all the details about his antim darshan and cremation are given. The Pal singer’s antim darshan will happen between 10:30 am – 12:30 am and then his mortal remains will be taken to the Versova Hindu Cemetery at 1 pm. His mortal remains have already reached Mumbai.

The 53-year-old singer was performing on the Nazrul Manch, Kolkata, where he complained of uneasiness. He was taken to CMRI hospital but the doctor declared him death. KK’s sudden death sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry and the entire nation. Condolences poured in from celebs to dignitaries on social media. From PM Narendra Modi to Akshay Kumar to Allu Arjun, everyone mourned his death. Yesterday, his mortal remains were taken to Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata. KK’s wife Jyoti and kids also paid their last respects to him. Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also paid her respects to KK. A gun salute was also accorded to the late singer.
