KK’s song ‘Dhoop Paani Bahne De’ from Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga unveiled, leaves fans emotional

The first song of Pankaj Tripathi starrer Sherdil – The Pilibhit Saga is out. The song ‘Dhoop Paani Bahne De’ is the first song of the late singer KK post his death. The iconic singer passed away in Kolkata on May 31st. His sudden demise left fans and friends shocked. The song that sends a message about protecting forests is penned by Gulzar. It has left KK fans quite emotional.

On Monday, Pankaj Tripathi took to social media to share the video. The track is written by legendary Gulzar Saab and is composed by Shantanu Moitra. In the video, Pankaj can be seen travelling through the forest.

The melodious track brought KK’s memories back and fans soon dropped comments on it. A user wrote, “Legend never dies they live forever in our heart.” Another fan commented, “What a man KK was.” KK sir will remain in our hearts forever.” An emotional fan wrote, “No words, my heart is heavy don’t know what to express. Come back with same voice and same energy. Until then, we will rewind ur songs.”

Sherdil – The Pilibhit Saga, is helmed by Srijit Mukherji and is inspired by true events. The movie features Pankaj Tripathi Neeraj Kabi and Sayani Gupta in pivotal roles. It is set to release on June 24.

Prominent singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, lovingly known as KK passed away at the age of 53, shortly after performing live in a concert in Kolkata, West Bengal. Reportedly, the singer fell sick while performing at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata. KK passed away due to a cardiac arrest, according to the post-mortem report. His cremation was performed on June 02 in Mumbai.
