Deepika PAdukone

Deepika Padukone is ruling the world with her talent. She has left a mark even in the West and is considered to be one of the most inspiring ladies of B-town. Well, generally when someone attains so much of success in his/her life, we tend to give credit to the education they hold. But it is not the same in her case. At the book launch event of Hema Malini’s biography, Deepika spoke about how she could never go to college because she was already a successful model by the time she completed her schooling. She was quoted saying, “I haven’t gone to college. I just managed to finish 11-12 grade because I was already a successful model. I tried 1 year of my degree and distance education that didn’t happen. My parents had an issue because they wanted me to have a degree. So I’m just 12th pass.”

Whatever it be, we are glad that Deepika made this decision to enter the world of cinema and enthrall us with her talent.

At the same event she also spoke about how her upcoming film ‘Padmavati’ was an exhausting experience for her. “Working in ‘Padmavati’ was an exhausting experience. It takes quite a lot to work on a character for nine months constantly round the clock. Certain characters just don’t leave your system,” she had quipped.
