Koena Mitra receives harassing phone calls from a pervert

We have heard of fans stalking celebrities and in turn, creating trouble for the stars. But a fan recently crossed all his limits when he sexually harassed Bollywood actress Koena Mitra over phone. The actress, who is maintaining a low-key profile in the industry, received quite a few phone calls from a pervert who asked the actress to spend a night with him in exchange of money.

As per the reports, the actress received around 40 to 50 phone calls from unknown numbers in the past one week. Initially, she ignored the phone calls, but then she decided to answer one of the calls on Saturday at around 5:30 pm. The caller asked her to spend a night with him and also offered money. Later, he even hurled profanities to her and then disconnected the call.

Following this incident, Koena approached Oshiwara Police Station to lodge a complaint. An officer stated, “We have booked the caller under section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of IPC and are investigating the case further.”

Koena was last in news because of her plastic surgery that went horribly wrong. She had undergone a nose job which did not turn out to be as expected. The model-turned-actress started her Bollywood career in the year 2002 by appearing in a special number in movie ‘Road’, but she could not achieve fame and name in the glamour industry.
