‘Koffee With Karan 6’ second episode highlights: If you have missed watching Akshay and Ranveer, we’ve got you covered

Two powerhouses of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh, made a classy entry on the second episode of the chat show ‘Koffee With Karan 6’. Karan Johar is the host of the show and this season, he has exquisite jodis who will grace the coffee couch. The first episode was premiered on October 21 and the second episode was aired yesterday (October 28). The episode was full of hilarious jokes, nostalgia and lots of craziness. Here are the highlights of the second episode.

Karan opened the show introducing the two guests who are called as ‘Mama’s boy’. Karan called Akshay a solid, dependable motion picture star, while he said Ranveer was the superstar of the young generation. Then the show started.

Recalling an incident from his childhood, Ranveer said that his two cousins had come from Canada and wanted to meet Akshay. Akshay was then shooting for a film with Raveena Tandon and his family went to meet Akshay on the sets. Ranveer also said that he found Raveena very sexy during that shoot. Karan then showed a throwback picture of Akshay and Ranveer from the sets of ‘Keemat’. Turning nostalgic on the picture, both had a funny conversation. Apparently, Akshay had more hair on his chest than Ranveer had it on his head.

Akshay also said that Ranveer loves to dance. He said, “Whenever he goes to someone’s wedding for a performance, he is the last person to leave. That guy’s wedding is done, he wants to go for his suhaagraat, they’ll leave when you leave!”

Praising his energy level, Akki said, “hats off to Deepika for living with this person.”

Talking about the similarities between them, Akshay said that he did an undies dance during his 8th or 9th film, ‘Suhaag’ and Ranveer also did an undies dance in his film ‘Befikre’, which was also his 8th film. The only difference was Ranveer wore a red one and Akshay wore a blue one.

During the rapid-fire round, Ranveer and Akshay were asked about their worst traits as a boyfriend and husband. Ranveer admitted that he is never on time, whereas Akshay confessed he is inattentive towards his wife Twinkle Khanna while watching cricket.

When Ranveer was asked to put nicknames for celebs, he called Aamir Khan an owl, Sanjay Dutt a stallion, Alia Bhatt a kiddy cat, and Deepika – his humming bird. When he was asked which song reminds him of Deepika, Ranveer said it was, ‘Sweet Child O Mine’ by Guns N Roses.

When he was asked how he would describe Ranbir Kapoor’s tinder bio, he said, “I have many talents, even outside bedroom.”

When Ranveer was asked with whom he would like to do his next movie, Alia or Deepika, he said both. He asked Karan Johar to make a sequel of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ with Alia, Deepika and him. He said Ranbir would play the role of Salman Khan.

When Karan Johar asked Ranveer which Khan he likes the most, he said that he wants to do a movie with Taimur Ali Khan in which he will play his father.
