Koffee With Karan 7: Aamir Khan reveals what will happen if Laal Singh Chaddha fails to impress audience

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha is one of the most awaited Bollywood films. Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of the Hollywood hit film Forrest Gump which starred Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. Karan and Aamir Khan recently made an appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan 7. On Koffee with Karan 7, Aamir Khan was asked about whether he feels the pressure of his film releasing in theatres next week.

Karan Johar asked him, “Are you stressed?” Aamir said, “Of course, I am stressed, kaise sawaal pooch raha hai yaar?” Kareena asked him, “Are you? But you’re very confident?”

Aamir then explained that director Advait Chandan has done a commendable job on Laal Singh Chaddha, but he is very nervous. The actor said, “We are excited that we have made a good film, lekin agar film logon ko pasand nahin aayi, bahut dil toot jaayega.”

Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh and is slated to release on 11 August, 2022.

Ahead of the film’s release, Laal Singh Chaddha has been making headlines for multiple reasons. Recently, Aamir urged fans to watch his upcoming film as he reacted to the ‘Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha’ trend on Twitter. PTI quoted him as saying, “That Boycott Bollywood… Boycott Aamir Khan… Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha… I feel sad also because a lot of people who are saying this in their hearts believe I am someone who doesn’t like India… In their hearts they believe that… And that’s quite untrue. I really love the country. That’s how I am. It is rather unfortunate if some people feel that way.” He then requested fans to not boycott his films. For the uninitiated, the boycott trend regarding his film began after a section of Twitter users dug out his old interview bits, where he said that his ex-wife Kiran Rao had suggested they move countries because of ‘growing intolerance’.
