Vicky Kaushal and Sidharth Malhotra recently graced the couch on Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee With Karan season 7. The latest episode of the chat show premiered last night and it had the actors making many candid revelations. From Vicky revealing he and Katrina Kaif are terrible cooks to Sidharth spilling the beans on his marriage plans. Vicky also broke the silence on his films Takht and Ashwatthama being shelved.

The Raazi star said that the disappointment stays with him for just one day and later he stops being emotional about it and sees the logic.

Talking about what happens when the plug gets pulled on a film, Vicky Kaushal said, “The disappointment stays with me for just one day. After a few hours, I stop being emotional about it and see the logic.

When asked about the failure of a big-ticket movie, ‘Ashwatthama’, to go on the floors, the star said: “When I got the news, I called my gym instructor and told him, let me do the most difficult workout session because I really want to vent!” Not many know that Vicky had put in two years of prep for the said film and they were extremely close to starting the shooting.

The Immortals of Ashwatthama was announced on the one-year anniversary of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. Billed as a superhero action film, the project was to be directed by Aditya Dhar.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal has Meghana Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur. The movie also features Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. A  Laxman Utekar film with Sara Ali Khan and  Govinda Naam Mera in his kitty.
