The recent episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 featured the sister duo Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. From their personal lives to professional lives, Janhvi and Khushi spoke about it all. Among many things, Janhvi Kapoor revealed how Boney Kapoor was upset when he was not included in the trailer of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
Was Boney Kapoor upset on not being included in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaarr trailer?
The sister duo added their own touch of entertainment in the recent episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. During the same, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor discussed Boney Kapoor’s acting ambitions. In the conversation, Karan Johar said, “Can we take a moment to talk about his acting debut? Apparently, he was very sad when he wasn’t in the trailer.” To this, Janhvi added, “Yeah, he said ‘wahi toh selling point hai tumhari film ki, mujhe hi nikaal dia.”
Along with this, Janhvi and Khushi also spoke at length about their father. They also revealed that Boney Kapoor had cried for three days when Khushi landed herself in her Bollywood debut movie The Archies. The Archies carried a star cast including Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina among others.

Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor also opened up about their mother Sridevi’s demise. Khushi said, “I think it took me a while when it happened to kind of accept it. I think it did suddenly hit me after a while. But I was a bit confused, I don’t know. But I had Jahnvi and I had dad. So, they were just kind of there to help.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi said,”The thing that I remember, when I got the call, I was in my room. And I could hear wailing from Khushi’s room. And I think I barged into her room howling and crying. But what I do remember, Karan, is she looked at me.” The actress got teary-eyed as she added, “The minute she looked at me, she just stopped crying. She just stopped. She just sat next to me and started comforting me and I’ve never seen her cry about it ever since.” Khushi went on to add, “I think I felt that I had to hold it together for everyone because I feel I’ve always been the ‘strong’ one.”
