Kajol and Rani Mukerji were the recent guests to appear on Koffee With Karan Season 8. Among the many interesting and fun insights they revealed, Kajol also spoke up about the movie roles she has turned out. Not only this, but those movies that emerged as big hits. Though Kajol has been a part of many memorable movies, the movies she has rejected have earned quite a lot of appreciation and love from the audience.
Kajol reveals the movie roles she has turned down
During the fun rapid-fire segment, Kajol was bombarded with interesting questions by host Karan Johar. Out of many, she was asked about the roles she had turned down that later became a huge hit. Kajol graciously answered and said that there were quite a few movie roles that she turned down and revealed the names of 3 Idiots, Mohra and Dil To Pagal Hai.
She was also asked whether she still believes in the iconic dialogue ‘pyaar ek baar hota hai aur shaadi bhi’. To which the actress hilariously answered, “Bilkul nahi. I definitely don’t believe it.” She also revealed the one thing she misses from the industry of the 90s, and said, “A sense of camaraderie that I feel is not there anymore.” Kajol was also asked about a social media tip that she got from her daughter Nysa. Responding to this, Kajol said, “She put me on Instagram actually. And I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
During the fun segment, the actress was asked the give each movie title to actors or actresses. First, she was asked about Govinnda’s Hero No. 1. To this, Kajol stated that this title solely belongs to Govinda only, and there are no two ways about it. Further, she gave the ‘Queen’ title to the veteran Rekha and ‘Total Dhamaal’ to Ranveer Singh.
