Koffee With Karan Season 8: Sara Ali Khan REVEALS she was left with ‘self doubt’ after the failure of Love Aaj Kal 2 and Coolie No.1

The much-awaited third episode of the Karan Johar-hosted show Koffee With Karan Season 8 aired on November 9. The guests in the recent episode of Koffee With Karan 8 featured Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday. There’s no doubt in admitting that the episode was full of interesting insights and exciting revelations. During the chat, Sara and Ananya addressed several rumors about themselves and they spoke about their professional lives too. Amid this, Sara Ali Khan also opened up about the failure of Love Aaj Kal 2 and Coolie No. 1.

During the chat, Karan Johar asked her whether she acknowledged the performance errors in the movies that did not do well. To this, Sara replied by saying, “It’s not even about just acknowledging the fact that Love Aaj Kal wasn’t a good performance. It’s about understanding the larger ramifications of that. I actually think that the way Love Aaj Kal not doing well or Coolie No.1 not doing well affected me is way more deep-rooted than I realised.”

Further, she also added that she was left with self-doubt after Love Aaj Kal did not do well. Speaking about this, Sara said, “What Love Aaj Kal left was self-doubt to the next level to the point of like even personally, romantically, professionally- ‘Am I good enough? Do I need to compensate for the lack of my doing something else?’” 

Not only this, but further in the conversation on Koffee With Karan 8, Sara Ali Khan also opened up about her equation with Kartik Aaryan and how it was not easy for her. Moreover, she was also offered to do a song in Ananya Panday starrer Liger. The actress rejected it and politely replied, “Now let the Liger RIP.”
