‘Arjun Patiala’ trailer: Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma are here to tickle your funny bone

Rohit Jugraj’s upcoming film ‘Arjun Patiala‘ boasts of a very interesting star cast – Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma. After unveiling some quirky posters and “brilliant marketing ideas” of this romantic cop spoof comedy, the makers have finally dropped its trailer.

As promised by Diljit in one of the film’s promotional videos, ‘Arjun Patiala’s trailer does stand out from the rest. The comic timing of Varun and Diljit is on point and there’s never a dull moment when they appear on the screen. Whereas Kriti too is impressive with her brilliant one-liners and enthusiasm. The film seems to be a spoof on typical Bollywood films as its tagline reads “Indian Cinema Ki 245 Police Wali Picture”

In the film, Kriti plays a crime journalist named Ritu whereas Diljit (in the titular role) will be seen as a small town cop. Varun is playing the role of Onida (now that’s an amusing name). ‘Arjun Patiala’s trailer is indeed as honest as desi ghee.

The character-driven comedy will be clashing at the box office with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Mental Hai Kya’. Bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan, Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Leyzell and Krishan Kumar, ‘Arjun Patiala’ will hit the silver screens on July 26.
