The 69^th National Film Awards was special for Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun. While Kriti won the Best Actress award for Mimi, Allu Arjun took home the prestigious Best Actor award for his performance in Pushpa: The Rise. This was Kriti and Allu Arjun’s first National Award. On Wednesday, Kriti shared a bunch of photos from the event. In the photos, Kriti can be seen posing with Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Alli Arjun. The actress’ selfie with Allu Arjun, in particular, has gone viral on social media.

Kriti jointly received the Best Actress award with Alia Bhatt, who won the award for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Earlier on Tuesday, Kriti shared photos with her parents on Instagram as she celebrated her big win. The actress’ caption read, “The feeling is not easy to describe in words… Today will be one of the most memorable days of my life! Missed you @nupursanon#NationalAward #BestActress #Mimi.”

Kriti’s upcoming movies

On the work front, Kriti was last seen in Om Raut’s Adipurush. The actress played the role of Sita in the film. Adipurush also starred Prabhas, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage. She will be next seen in Vikas Bahl’s Ganapath: A Hero Is Born, co-starring Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan. Ganapath will release on 20^th October, 2023.
