Kriti Sanon BREAKS SILENCE on dating rumours with Prabhas, talks about her ‘wedding date’

Kriti Sanon has been hitting headlines for her rumoured affair with Adipurush co-star Prabhas. Speculation abounded that Prabhas has proposed and the duo will get engaged post-Adipurush’s release. Her Bhediya co-star Varun Dhawan added fuel to the fire as he teased the actress on a dance reality show about Prabhas. Finally, Kriti has addressed the rumours and clarified she is NOT dating Prabhas.

Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram stories to dismiss rumours about her relationship. She wrote that Varun and she had fun banter on the show and called the dating rumours ‘absolutely baseless.’

Taking to Instagram Kriti wrote, “It’s neither pyaar, nor PR…our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date – let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless (sic),” with a Fake News sticker.

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon appeared on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa to promote their recently released film, Bhediya.  On the show, Karan Johar asked Dhawan why Kriti’s name was missing from the list. To which the October star replied, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam, kisi ke dil me hai.” When Karan asked him to take a name, he said, “Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath.”

Kriti Sanon will be seen in Om Raut’s directorial Adipurush with Prabhas. The film also features Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh. It is being produced by  T Series and Retrophiles and will hit the theatres on June 16, 2023.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon was recently seen in Bhediya, helmed by Amar Kaushik. The film was released on November 25. It also features Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal, and Palin Kabak.
