‘200 percent dene ki koshish ki hai,’ Kriti Sanon on playing Janaki in Adipurush

Kriti Sanon and Prabhas starrer Adipurush trailer was released on Tuesday. The trailer received a good response from netizens. While Prabhas plays the role of Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon will be seen as Janaki in the Om Raut directorial. Talking about Kriti, in particular, she impressed fans as Ma Sita in the trailer. The actress looks divine and how! At the trailer launch of Adipurush, Kriti opened up about playing the role of Janaki.

Here’s what Kriti Sanon said…

“Puri Shraddha se, puri prem se maine nibhane ki koshish ki hai. Apna 200% dene ki koshish ki hai baaki who bhagwaan hai, hum insaan hai. Agar kuch bhulchuk hogayi ho toh please maaf kar dijiye (With all devotion, with all love I have tried to play the character. I have tried giving my 200%, rest he is God, we are humans. If there’s any mistake, please forgive)”

At the event, Kriti also thanked Om Raut for believing in her. She said, “I want to thank Om for believing in me as Janaki. You had faith in me that I could play that role because there are very few actors who get such a role in their lifetime. I feel very, very blessed.”

The actress also praised her Adipurush co-star Prabhas. Kriti called him a ‘simple man’ and compared him with his character. She said, “Prabhas is as simple as Prabhu Ram I would say.”

Apart from Prabhas and Kriti, Adipurush also stars Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage and Saif Ali Khan. While Devdatta Nage plays Lord Hanuman and Sunny Singh stars as Lakshman, Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing the role of Lankesh in the mythological film.
