Kriti Sanon pens a heartfelt note as Mimi completes one year: A film that gave me so much as an actor

Actress Kriti Sanon has come a long way in her acting career. She has always won critics and audiences’ hearts with her performances. In 2021, Kriti headlined the movie Mimi, where she played a surrogate mother. The movie received an overwhelming response and specially, Kriti was lauded for her stellar performance. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that she delivered her career best performance with the film. The movie today completed one year. As Mimi has turned one, the actress has shared a video featuring a few clips from the movie and also BTS clips alongside a heartfelt note.

Sharing the video on her Instagram handle, Kriti wrote, “Mimi Turns 1 !! ???And the love is still pouring in.. ? A film that gave me so so much as an actor! The memories and experience of this journey is beyond Priceless! Mimi made me feel Alive and how!” She added, “Missing everyone attached to the film today..” tagging director Laxman Utekar, producer Dinesh Vijan, her co-stars Pankaj Tripathi, Saie Tamhankar, Supriya Pathak and Manoj Pahwa and the entire crew of Mimi. Kriti ended the post as she wrote, “You guys have my heart! ?”

Kriti made her Bollywood debut with Tiger Shroff in Heropanti. Post that, she never looked back and appeared in movies like Dilwale, Raabta, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Luka Chuppi, among others. She was last seen in Bachchhan Paandey with Akshay Kumar.

Reportedly, Sanon will have a working birthday on July 27 as she will be on the sets of Shehzada in Haryana shooting with Kartik Aaryan. Apart from Shehzada, she will also be seen in Adipurush, Ganapath, Bhediya and Anurag Kashyap’s unannounced next.
