Kriti Sanon has been delivering one hit film after another. The actress’ 2021 released comedy-drama movie, Mimi received a lot of love from the audience, in which she essays the role of a young woman who opts to be a surrogate mother for a foreign couple. It also featured Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, Supriya Pathak. Many netizens even lauded Kriti’s performance and stated the role as the career-best performance of Sanon.
Now, the Hum Do Hamare Do actress revealed that after her 2021 movie, Mimi, many male actors felt insecure and were not ready to a movie with her if their roles were smaller than her. Talking to Indian Express, she said: “There are very, very few who would let others share screen space equally. I’ve been in situations where most men were not willing to do a film where 60% was me and 40% was a male actor’s role. Nobody was willing to do it. So, I obviously think that these things need to change a little.”

She also appreciated her co-star Akshay Kumar and stated that he is not insecure to do small roles in films. “What Akshay did in Atrangi Re was so commendable. It was a small but good role. Akshay is so not insecure of anyone, and plays his part honestly.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the Luka Chuppi actress is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie, Bachchhan Paandey co-starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 18 March 2022.
Apart from that, the actress also has an interesting movies in her pipeline. Kriti has Shehzada, Bhediya, Ganapath and Adipurush.
