Kriti Sanon to play Meena Kumari in the legendary actress’ biopic? Deets inside

Kriti Sanon is one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood. She has always left the critics and audience impressed with her action chops. From Dilwale, Bareilly ki Barfi to Mimi, Kriti has wowed everyone with her stellar performances. She has a plethora of projects in her kitty. Reportedly, one is the biopic of legendary Bollywood actress Meena Kumari. Yes, you read it right. A report in ETimes states that the actress has been approached to play the role of Meena Kumari in her biopic.

The report also states that T-Series is thinking to make the movie on the life of Meena Kumari, and Kriti Sanon has been asked to play her role. Well, nothing has been confirmed yet and the official announcement is yet to be made. If this report happens to be true, then it would be a mega project of Kriti in her career.

Recently, Kriti was seen in Bachchhan Paandey, that was released on March 18. The movie starred Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, and Pankaj Tripathi. The movie is not performing well at the box-office due to The Kashmir Files and now RRR has released on March 25, it is likely to get more affected.

Coming back to Kriti, she has many films lined up. She will be seen in Ganapath, with her Heropanti co-star Tiger Shroff. It is slated to release in theatres on December 23, 2022. She will also be seen in Adipurush, co- starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh. Apart from these, the diva also has Bhediya with Varun Dhawan and Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan.
