Kriti Sanon wasn’t Sajid Khan’s choice for ‘Housefull 4’?

Recently the makers of ‘Housefull 4’ announced that Kriti Sanon will be starring opposite Akshay Kumar. But little did we know that she wasn’t the first choice of director Sajid Khan.

Apparently Sajid was looking out for someone like Parineeti Chopra or a Sonakshi Sinha for the film. He had even thought of approaching Pari but before he could, producer Sajid Nadiadwala sent out a strong diktat.(Also Read: HOT NEWS: Check out the ensemble cast of ‘Housefull 4’!)

Nadiadwala, who launched Kriti in ‘Heropanti’, was adamant that she be cast opposite Akshay Kumar as the main heroine in ‘Housefull 4’. There wasn’t any argument further since Sajid Khan went by what the producer demanded, given that he’s investing in the film.

And it was only after Kriti was finalized that the maker approached Pooja Hegde to play the second lead. Also actress Kiara Advani’s name has been doing the rounds as the third heroine for the film that also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol, but no official announcement on that front has been made yet. But one thing is for sure –  a director has to keep everyone happy especially the producer.
