After Saif Ali Khan, now Kriti Sanon has wrapped up Adipurush shoot. She is sad as her schedule has come to end. Taking to her Instagram handle, Kriti wrote that she is “extremely happy to have played Janaki” in Adipurush. She also thanked director Om Raut for giving her the role and believing in her. She is also “extremely proud” to be part of it.
Kriti shared a few pictures-one cutting a cake with Om Raut and the other posing with him.
“Can’t believe this journey has come to an end so soon! My heart sinks as I let go of this super special character that I’m extremely proud to have played: JANAKI ! Her loving heart, her pious soul and her unshakable strength will somewhere stay within me forever!” She thanked Om Raut for giving her the character of Janaki and “believing that i could carry the weight and responsibility that the character came with. Thank you for holding my hand through this journey and finding her with me! Your vision is extraordinary and I can’t wait for the world to see it!”, Kriti captioned the pics.

Earlier, on her character Kriti had told PTI, “We have to obviously stay within a certain boundary and realise the weightage and the responsibility that come with the character that you are playing. Thankfully, I am in the hands of a brilliant director, someone who has done all the research on the subject and on all characters”.
Adipurush also stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh.
Coming back to Kriti, apart from Adipurush, she will be seen in Hum Do Hamare Do, with Rajkummar Rao, Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah. Also, she will star in Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan. It is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
