FIR filed against Vicky Sidana after actress Kritika Sharma accused him of sexual harassment

Yesterday, Mumbai Police registered an FIR against Alok Nath and booked him under section 376 of IPC (rape) after writer-producer Vinta Nanda filed a complaint against him. Vinta accused Nath of raping her 19 years ago. And now an FIR has been filed against casting director Vicky Sidana as well, following the sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by actress Kritika Sharma.

Kritika approached Police a month back to file an FIR. However, the Versova Police station denied filing her case. The actress later sent a complaint to the Ministry of Home Affairs, following which an FIR was finally filed against Vicky Sidana. He was booked under Section 354, 509 and 406.

After actress Kritika Sharma named and shamed Vicky in the #MeToo movement, he was ousted from Iulia Vantur’s debut film ‘Radha Kyun Gori Main Kyun Kaala’. However, Vicky has vehemently denied all the allegations made by Kritika. He even issued a statement asking journalists to refrain from publishing any defamatory articles against him.
