‘Krrish 3’ tickets to cost more than ‘Chennai Express’

This Diwali ‘Krrish 3’ is arriving at your nearby theaters. But herein  lies the twist,  the tickets are to cost a bomb. ‘Chennai Express’ tickets had sold for Rs 500 and it is being said that the tickets for the superhero sequel will be more than that.

According to sources, Fun cinemas are to raise the price by 8%,  same for Inox. Big Cinemas are hoping that ‘Krrish 3’ will be a blockbuster.  As it is festive period along with a Hrithik Roshan movie after a long time, is the reason behind the price rise. So the multiplexes are all gearing up to mint the moolah with the price rise.

The only good news is that the single screen owners are not following this trend”I don’t need to resort to such things. If the film is good, people will come to the theatres,” Manoj Desai of Gaiety-Galaxy said.

So there is still a silver lining for movie goers if they want to enjoy their hero Hrithik Roshan’s movie at a less price .
