Krushna Abhishek extends an olive branch this Ganesh Chaturthi, after Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja lashes out

Bollywood actor Govinda and his nephew, comedian-actor Krushna Abhishek had made headlines when the latter confirmed he will not be part of the Govinda special episode on The Kapil Sharma Show. The upcoming weekend, Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja will grace the stage of TKSS with their children Tina and Yashvardhan. It was recently that Sunita lashed out at Krushna and said she does not want to see his face ever again in her life. Now, Krushna reacted and called for peace.

Krushna Abhishek said he wants to mark the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi by putting an ender to the feud with Govinda. On Friday, Krushna made an appearance in the city while taking the Ganpati idol from a shop to his car. He was immediately surrounded by the paparazzi. 

When he was questioned about his relations with his maternal uncle, Govinda, the comedian said, “Mama mami….Main chahata hu yeh bhi problem Ganpati ji solve karde parivar ki kyuki hum sab ek doosre ko pyaar karte hai ..bhale internal issues hote hai..woh bhi solve hojaye bas yehi pray karta hu. (I pray Ganpati ji to solve the internal issues between our families. Despite issues, there’s love between us).”

It is no secret that there have been problems Krushna and Govinda’s relationship for the last few years. For the unversed, there were reports that the fight stemmed from a tweet made by Kashmera Shah, Krushna’s wife, who had once commented on ‘people who dance for money’. 

Govinda’s wife Sunita claimed that the tweet was targeted at the Coolie No 1 actor. Since then, the family has made headlines for the family feud.
