Amjad Khan’s brother and Krutika Desai’s husband, Imtiaz Khan passes away

Television’s veteran actress Krutika Desai’s husband Imtiaz Khan breathed his last in Mumbai on March 15. Imtiaz is the brother of ‘Sholay’ actor Amjad Khan. The cause of his death is yet to be known.

Imtiaz was an actor and director. He had several films like ‘Pyaara Dost’, ‘Procession of Memories’, ‘Noor Jahan’ and ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ to his credit. While his wife Krutika has been associated with several hit shows like ‘Mere Angane Mein’,  ‘Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’ and ‘Kumkum – Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan’ among others to name a few.

Yesteryear actress Anju Mahendroo offered condolences to Imtiaz’s family. Sharing a major throwback picture with the Khan brothers, Anju wrote, “Once upon a time!!! Rest in eternal peace my friend@Imtiaz Khan”

Imtiaz is survived by his wife Krutika and daughter Ayesha Khan.
