It’s been a few weeks after filmmaker Reema Kagti’s upcoming film ‘Gold’ went on floors in Bradford, UK. The movie stars Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy in the lead roles and today there’s a latest update from the sets. As per a report in a leading tabloid, actor Kunal Kapoor who plays a pivotal role in the film met with an unfortunate incident. The actor’s wallet that contained all his cards and cash was missing. But, reports suggest that he has managed to finish the shoot with the support from his friends in the UK and has returned back.
A source from the sets has revealed saying, “While at the shoot, the actor realised his wallet that contained all his cards and cash was missing. When he informed his friends, they immediately helped him out. A few days later, wife Naina Bachchan, joined him at the location. However, the actor or even his spokesperson have refused to confirm these reports.
Talking about the film ‘Gold’, it is set in year 1948, when India won its first medal at Olympics, after Independence.
The film also stars Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal and Vineet Singh playing pivotal roles in it. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the film is slated to hit the screens on August 15, 2018.
