Kusha Kapila SPEAKS UP on separation with husband Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia, says, ‘The scars will begin to heal soon’

Kusha Kapila’s personal life has been a talk of the town for the past few months. In June this year, Kusha Kapila announced her separation from husband Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia. They had shared an official statement on Instagram. A part of it read, “We gave it our all, until we couldn’t anymore.” Post the announcement, Kusha and Zorawar kept mum about their separation. However, now, in a recent interview, Kusha Kapila was asked about her separation from husband Zorawar and she stated that she’s in the process of developing a thick skin.

Kusha opens up on her separation

Speaking with Zoom Entertainment, Kusha said, “I do understand that this is a part of being a public person. If you are profiting off being a public person toh kuch toh log kahenge, logo ka kaam hai kehna which is going to happen.”

The actress added, “My life now is just in the service of making my skin thicker and thicker everyday and that’s just what I work towards. Every day I have to be immune and I have to be thick-skinned. The scars will begin to heal soon enough.”

Post separation, Kusha was brutally trolled on social media. At that time, Zorawar had shared post slamming the trolls for calling Kusha ‘villain’ and blaming her for their separation. That’s not all, he also made it clear that it was a ‘mutual decision’.

Last month, Kusha was rumoured to be dating Arjun Kapoor. For the uninitiated, Arjun and Malaika Arora were reported to have broken up. However, they were later spotted on a dinner date and the reports turned out to be false. On the other hand, Kusha had strongly reacted to her relationship rumours with Arjun Kapoor.

On the work front, Kusha will be seen in Thank You For Coming, co-starring Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Karan Kundrra, and Shibani Bedi among others. Thank You For Coming is slated to release on 6^th October, 2023.
