‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3’ actress Mandana Karimi files a domestic violence case against her husband

Mandana Karimi, who made her Bollywood debut with a special appearance in ‘Roy’, became famous with her stint in ‘Bigg Boss 9’. She was seen as a lead in films like ‘Bhaag Johnny’ and ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3’. Well, after ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3’, she was not seen in any Bollywood film, and then in this year January she tied the knot with Gaurav Gupta. However, now there’s trouble in their paradise.

Mandana has filed a domestic violence case against her husband. In her application, she has mentioned that she came to India in 2012 to become a model and actress, and met Gaurav through a common friend. The actress has alleged that she was asked to quit acting and modelling after marriage.

Well, things became worse when she was barred from entering her house. She has also claimed that she was harassed by her mother-in-law. The actress was thrown out of her matrimonial house 7 weeks ago. She tried to be back with them, but her in-laws didn’t allow the same. The actress, who is currently staying in a service apartment, claims that she was not even allowed to meet her friends. The actress’ lawyer has stated that the matter is now in court and they would take it as per law. Mandana has asked for a monthly maintenance of Rs 10 lakh and a compensation of Rs. 2 crore. The hearing of the case will take place on July 15, 2017 at metropolitan court in Andheri.
