‘Laal Kaptaan’: Saif Ali Khan gives inside scoop on playing a Naga Sadhu in his upcoming film

There’s no doubt in the fact that Saif Ali Khan is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood today. As the makers unveiled the first look poster of Saif as Naga Sadhu from his upcoming flick ‘Laal Kaptaan’, the actor himself gave some interesting inside scoop about his role in the film. In a candid interview with a leading tabloid, Saif Ali Khan spoke about portraying a revengeful Naga Sadhu in Navdeep Singh’s film.

Saif Ali Khan, who is not so active on social media, has been the internet’s favorite ever since the release of his digital drama ‘Sacred Games’. Last year, this picture of Saif Ali Khan went viral as the ‘Rangoon’ actor can be seen in a never seen before avatar in the revenge drama. While talking about his role in ‘Laal Kaptaan’, he revealed that he had to dedicate about 2 hours on his makeup to get the correct aesthetics of the character. Not just that, he also revealed that they have shot the film in mud and heat.

In an interview with Mid Day, Khan said, “I play a revengeful Naga Sadhu. He kills a British soldier, and wears a bandana to look cool.”

Saif Ali Khan was recently compared with Jack Sparrow from the film ‘Pirates of The Caribbean’ and the whole internet was busy creating memes on his look.
