‘Lagaan’ actor Rajesh Vivek passes away

‘Guraan’ from the much-acclaimed film ‘Lagaan’, actor Rajesh Vivek, passed away on Thursday, 14th January around 3 o’ clock after he suffered a cardiac attack In Hyderabad. The actor was only 66 years old.

Rajesh was also known for his on-screen performance in ‘Swadesh’. He played a postman’s role in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film. He was shooting for a Southern film there in Hyderabad when the cardiac arrest occured.

“I knew Rajesh for more than 40 years. It’s extremely sad and a huge loss to the industry,”- Vishnu Sharma, a close friend of Rajesh, stated.

His last rites will be done today (Friday, 15th January) in Mumbai.
