Say What! Lara Dutta believes Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are ‘getting married this year’

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are some of the most talked-about couples in Bollywood. The duo are much loved by their fans and everyone is only asking one question, “When are Alia and Ranbir getting married?” Rumours of their marriage have been making the rounds for the longest time and there has been no confirmation yet. While everyone is waiting on that, Bell Bottom actress Lara Dutta just made a shocking revelation as she believes that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are ‘getting married this year’.

Lara was recently reacting to rumours about Bollywood celebs that might be true when she said that since she is from the ‘older generation’ and might not know much about the younger ones, she said, “I might say something about some couple and I wouldn’t even know if they are still together or not.” However, talking about Alia-Ranbir marriage, Lara told Times Now, “I believe that they are getting married this year.” Alia and Ranbir’s fans have been going crazy over Lara’s revelation and if it is true we surely have a Bollywood shaadi to look forward to.

Alia and Ranbir will star together for the first time in a full feature film Brahmastra. The movie will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and others in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, talking about Lara, she has managed to leave the audience stunned with her recent role as Indira Gandhi in the Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom. Talking to the media at the trailer launch event, Lara told the media, “Okay, so you did see me in the trailer. I’m playing Mrs Indira Gandhi in the film. That’s me. All it took was a call and they said that Lara this film is being made and we are casting for Indira Gandhi’s role. That is all it took, before I even heard the script. But yes, of course, there is a great responsibility when you’re portraying somebody who is an iconic figure like her.”
