Lata Mangeshkar’s condition still critical; put on ventilator

Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was rushed to hospital on Monday after she complained of chest pain and breathing problem. Later reports suggested that she was back home post check-up. However, the latest update states that the legendary singer is still critical. Though her condition is improving but still she has been kept on life support. She is admitted in Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital.

As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Mangeshkar is expected to be in the hospital for the next one week. Giving an update on the singer’s health condition, Dr Pratit Samdani, internal medicine physician, Breach Candy, told the tabloid, “Mangeshkar is still on life support, her condition is slowly improving, but she is still critical.”

Apparently, the legendary singer is suffering from pneumonia, heart problems. She also has developed a chest infection. And the doctors said that unless her infection gets under control they can’t carry on with any procedures. Lata’s fans and followers all over the globe are praying for her speedy recovery.

Her family too has requested everyone to understand the situation and give her some space. We hope the ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ singer is hale and hearty and gets discharged at the earliest.
