Late Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu rushed to Mumbai hospital; veteran actress shifted to the ICU

Veteran actress Saira Banu has been hospitalized. She was rushed to a Mumbai hospital after she complained of issues related to blood pressure, three days ago. The veteran actress was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai’s Khar. According to a report in ZeeNews, Saira Banu was hospitalized after she suffered a minor heart attack three days back. She has close family members by her side, as per the report. The latest report mentioned that Saira Banu is now keeping fine. She was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ward of the hospital. 

ANI reported the update on Saira Banu’s health on Twitter. The tweet read: “Actor Saira Banu, wife of late veteran actor Dilip Kumar, was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai after she complained of issues related to blood pressure three days ago. She has been shifted to the ICU ward today (sic)”

Saira Banu suffered a personal loss when the legendary actor and her husband Dilip Kumar left the world for his heavenly abode in July, this year. The late actor passed away on July 7, 2021, at 7:30 AM. He was admitted to PD Hinduja hospital in Mumbai. Saira Banu’s husband was accorded full state honors. His last rites saw several renowned Bollywood celebrities, politicians, and fans, paying their last respects on his final journey. 

Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Shabana Azmi, Madhur Bhandarkar, Ranbir Kapoor, and others were spotted at Dilip Kumar’s residence, to pay their last respects.
