Lehar Khan recently delivered a terrific performance as Kalki in Jawan. Since its release, Jawan is creating new records every day at the box office. And well, that speaks volumes of the film’s success. Before Jawan, Lehar was seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, SRK, and Amitabh Bachchan released in September last year. For the uninitiated, Lehar played the role of Raveena in the film. Now, in a recent exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Lehar Khan opened up about sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Brahmastra.
Lehar Khan talks about working with Amitabh Bachchan
The actress shared a fun anecdote from the film’s set. While talking about Big B, Lehar shared that he made her feel ‘very comfortable’ on the sets of Brahmastra. She said, “With Amitabh sir, I think the funniest thing was that he’s the most adaptable person I’ve ever met. He wants to change with time and he’s like ‘Ok, what’s going on nowadays? How do you talk these days? What are these short forms?’ And the worst thing was I knew less than him.”
Lehar further added, “So, I would just be like I really don’t know what this means. And then, he started teasing me a little bit. He was like, ‘What is the short form of this’ and I would be like ‘I don’t know’. He’ll be like ‘you don’t even know that much. Just, get out’. He was that kind of a person. When you’re coming from outside and you’ve watched Amitabh Bachchan, he is the legend that he is. And he really wants to know what’s going on. He’s always up-to-date.”
