Liger: Ananya Panday to begin next schedule for Vijay Deverakonda starrer from THIS month

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger has been grabbing the headlines since its announcement. Recently, the makers unveiled the first look poster of the film. The poster shows a half image of a tiger and half of a lion in the backdrop and Vijay striking a pose in front wearing red boxing gloves. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger will release in multiple languages-Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Liger is an out-and-out action entertainer and Ananya Panday will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. In fact, this role of her is completely different from her previous ones.

Ananya is gearing up for her next shoot schedule of Liger. Speaking about the shoot schedule, a source close to the actress revealed that Ananya will be starting the next shoot schedule of the film in the second week of February. The shoot will take place in Mumbai.

Liger is Ananya’s first film with Vijay Deverakonda and with this, she will make her debut in regional cinema as well. Earlier, while sharing the first look poster of Liger, Ananya wrote, “Lion @dharmamovies & Tiger@puriconnects Are ready to cross all linguistic barriers and Roar together Presenting @thedeverakonda as#LIGER And I’m so very excited and grateful to be part of this. Coming soon to a theatre near you in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam. Directed by Puri Jagannadh.”

Liger also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy and Makarand Deshpande.

Apart from Liger, Ananya Panday will also star in Shakun Batra’s directorial that has Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
