Liger First Glimpse: Vijay Deverakonda says ‘Vaat Laga Denge’ as he promises to deliver a power-packed performance

Vijay Deverakonda starrer Liger (Saala Crossbreed) has been grabbing the headlines since its inception. As promised, the makers have today unveiled Liger first glimpse. We see Vijay Deverakonda who is from India, a ‘chai wala’, a slumdog of Mumbai streets who goes to become a champion in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) sport. Vijay is seen packing a punch in the boxing ring. We are just impressed the way he says ‘Vaat laga denge’. Vijay has gone through a huge physical transformation for his character. The commentator introduces him as, “Introducing the boy from India… Slum Dog Of Streets Of Mumbai… The Chai Wala… Liger…”

Filmmaker Karan Johar, sharing a new poster of Liger on social media wrote, “Presenting the #LigerFirstGlimpse – packed with action & thrill. This is just the beginning, we’ll see you in cinemas on 25th August, 2022! #Liger #VaatLagaDenge”.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger also stars Ananya Panday who plays the female lead. It also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy and boxing legend Mike Tyson. It is being made in Hindi, Telugu and will release in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam dubbed versions also. Dialogues & screenplay are also by Puri Jagannadh and is produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta & Hiroo Yash Johar under Puri Connects and Dharma Productions. Liger is releasing worldwide on August 25, 2022.
