Liger New Poster: Mike Tyson is ready to pack punches in Vijay Deverakonda-Ananya Panday starrer

A new poster of Liger was unveiled today. It features Mike Tyson who is the new addition to the cast. Tyson is a former world heavyweight boxing champion who will play a cameo role in Liger. According to a report in Indian Express, a source revealed that Mike will make the cameo appearance in the climax portions of the movie.

Today, on the occasion of Diwali, Dharma Productions treated fans with the new poster of Mike. Karan Johar and Vijay Deverakonda also shared the new poster on social media. The caption read, “The legend @MikeTyson is ready to celebrate this #Diwali with a few punches!”

Vijay plays the role of a boxer. Liger has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and will be dubbed in other languages. The pan-India movie is co-produced under Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions along with Puri Jagannadh’s Puri Connects. Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh.

Liger was initially scheduled to release in theatres on September 9, 2021. However, it got postponed due to a delay in the film’s completion. Apart from Vijay and Ananya, the film also has Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu and Abdul Quadir Amin among others.
