However, just two weeks after Liger’s release, another ambitious pan-India project, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra is slated to open. The Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer superherol drama will hit the theatres on September 9. When Charmme was asked about this short window between the two big releases, she said, Ye Karan ko maine bola tha baba, itni badi picture kyun la rahe ho September 9 ko. He said, no darling, there is no other good date. He said darling you have two weeks no, you will two solid two weeks business. And yes, to sustain for two weeks is a very big thing right now. Wo din chale gaye 50 din-100 din filmein chalti thi. And I know for a fact that two weeks is a very big period.”

She also went on to share her excitement for Brahmastra as she insisted, Brahmastra is a film which people are very interested in watching right now. I am also interested in watching the film. I want to see Alia-Ranbir, I want to see the beautiful visuals for sure. But that’s again a different genre catering to different people and market. Liger is an out-and-out mass masala commercial film with family drama in it. So, I am very sure that that is not going to be a problem for Liger. That will do very well and Brahmastra will do very well and Liger ka jitna run hai, wo hoga.”
