Liger: Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer gets a release date

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger finally has a release date. As per the latest reports, Liger is scheduled to release in theatres next year. The makers made an announcement and informed about the release date. Poducer Charmee Kaur took to Twitter to announce the release date of Liger. She mentioned in her tweet that the film will release on August 25, 2022. It is scheduled to release in five languages, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Talking about the film, it is directed by Puri Jagannadh. The sports-based movie features Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, and Mike Tyson.

Taking to Twitter, Kaur tweeted, “The Pan-India movie is ready to splash its blood, sweat & entertainment. Releasing in theatres worldwide on 25th August 2022. Catch a glimpse of the madness on 31st December. This New Year Aag Laga Denge (sic).”

The Liger producer even said that the audience will be treated with a glimpse of the madness on December 31st.

Meanwhile, Liger was scheduled to release on September 9, 2021. However, the release was postponed due to the pandemic.

It was only recently that the team of Liger wrapped up the film schedule in the US. Kaur had shared pictures of Vijay, Mike Tyson, Ananya and the team of the film enjoying dinner at a restaurant in the US. The upcoming movie is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, and Karan Johar. Liger will show Vijay Deverakonda playing the role of a boxer.
