Actor Vijay Deverakonda is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with Liger. He is currently shooting in Goa for the film, directed by Puri Jagannadh. He plays the role of a boxer and is paired opposite Ananya Panday. It has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and will be dubbed in other languages. The pan-India movie is co-produced under Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions along with Puri Jagannadh’s Puri Connects.
Now, as per a report in Pinkvilla, the team is all set to wrap up the Goa schedule on September 30 and will be going to international locations for the remaining shoot of Liger. It is one of the most anticipated movies and Vijay will be seen in a totally different avatar.
Recently, the Arjun Reddy actor shared a picture of him sitting inside a boxing ring, and wrote, “BLOOD. SWEAT. VIOLENCE. #LIGER Shoot Resumes.”

Liger was initially scheduled to release in theatres on September 9, 2021. However, it got postponed due to a delay in the film’s completion. Apart from Vijay and Ananya, the film also has Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu and Abdul Quadir Amin among others.
Yesterday, Vijay Deverakonda’s mother Deverakonda Madhavi turned a year, and to make her birthday special, the actor gifted his mom his newly opened multiplex theatre Asian Vijay Devarakonda Cinemas(AVD). He also penned a heartwarming birthday note for his mom as he promised to make more memories if she stays healthy and does workouts.
